my nightmare

So, there is one downside to the studio: the GIANT HOLE in the ground. Shortly after we moved in here, the city cut this huge chunk of earth out and have been fussing inside it for weeks. It’s part of some big sewer project so that raw sewage won’t flow in the Willamette when it rains. So, it’s a good thing, but for about five hours today they had some steam machine blasting into the hole. I couldn’t hear myself think. Hopefully, it’ll be over soon.

You have my sincere sympathies. 3rd and Market right outsite my office window closely resembles this scene . . . I can't seem to get away from it!

This portion of the project is tentatively scheduled to be completed in December of 2008. As a native Oregonian myself, yes, this is a good thing.
