Tomorrow is a special day for me. It will be the very first time I’ve displayed work in Portland, OR. A few months back, my good friends at OFFICE invited me to submit work to a group show for the month of May entitled “My West Coast”. All in all, 8 photographers have submitted five photos that were all shot on Polaroid Land Cameras. Everything I shot was on black & white Fujiroid and there is no negative. I’ll just have these scans to remind me (assuming I sell all the shots).
It’s been a while since I’ve shot film (much less Polaroid), but it was so fun to go analog again for a project. I’ll be posting all five of my shots here over the next five days. If you’re in Portland, come out to the opening tomorrow, Wednesday, April 29 from 6 to 8 PM at OFFICE 2204 NE Alberta Street Portland, OR 97211. The event is sponsored in part by New Deal Vodka.
