It’s been a little busy lately and I haven’t had much time for personal work. Lauren and I are going to Bend in a couple weeks for some R’n'R, so I’m hoping to get to shoot some high desert scenics while we’re there. I love central Oregon.
About this shot… it was an outtake from a shoot in Santa Cruz I did last summer. I was checking my camera settings and snapped this shot kind of randomly. After I downloaded the shoot back in Portland, something about this image stuck with me. Maybe because it was a big job and this was the first frame from it. Or maybe just that smiling puppet thing made me laugh. Hard to say.
