OUR TEAM

LINCOLN BARBOUR
Owner / Photographer / Director
Since starting his photography career in 2002, Lincoln has had one singular focus: make the best photograph possible and be nice about it. Incredibly easy to work with, talented with a unique vision, Lincoln loves to collaborate with his clients and team to serve his clients with world-class service in a stress-free environment. Outside of work, Lincoln is passionate about food, coffee, and his family.

JUSTIN TUNIS
STUDIO MANAGER
Justin originally worked with Lincoln Barbour as a photo assistant back in 2011. In 2019, Justin came on as our full time studio manager in 2019. Justin handles our production workflow from scheduling, to logistics, to post production, and so much more. He wears many hats around here and is available for shooting products in studio. Justin’s easy going nature, good humor, and superb organizational talents make him a key ingredient to smooth operating studio.

JAMES DOWLING
CGI ARTIST
Since 2010, James has been creating 3D computer generated visuals of architecture and decor. His background of animation and art is reflected in the images, which steer away from the traditional crisp and overly perfect computer generated images and introduce an atmosphere that can be found in homes that are lived in – giving the artificial images a feel of real life. More of his work can be found at atmosvisuals.com

BRIAN WILLIAMS
Retouching ninja
We handle much of the retouching in house, but every so often we need to bring in Tennessee based Brian Williams, a.k.a. Crossboard Creative, to literally make magic happen. Brian’s Photoshop ninja skills are the best we’ve ever seen and he is so easy to work with. We often refer to him as the ace up our sleeves.
NETWORK
Though many of our shoots we can handle on our own, we often bring in some incredibly talented and hard-working team members to meet the needs of our larger productions. Here are some of our favorite people:
Heather Smith
Producer
San Diego based Heather Smith and her production company Smith x Union has been involved in every major production for Lincoln Barbour Studio since 2015. Her all female team has been invaluable in the success of so many shoots. SxU does everything including securing locations, hiring crew, talent casting, bringing food trucks to cater, and most recently getting a stunt bird on location the day of the shoot. A literal swiss army knife of support, you won’t find better service anywhere and we use her exclusively.
Bergren Rameson
Prop & Room Stylist / Set Design
As talented as she is funny, Portland based Bergren Rameson has helped Lincoln Barbour Studio style countless numbers of shoots for Rejuvenation, Hunter Douglas, and The Joinery, and many more. Her style is clean, fresh, and timeless. Easy to work with and a joy to be around, Bergren is in high demand these days and never disappoints.
Nyssa Zinn
Prop & Room Stylist / Art Direction
Nyssa Zinn is by far one of the nicest people we have met and have had the pleasure to work with. Based in San Francisco, her organic and relaxed styling talents are used in campaigns for Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, AirBNB, and most recently with us on Hunter Douglas. She is the newest stylist to join our network and will be with us for years to come.
Stephen Pappas
Prop & Room Stylist / Interior Designer
If you need luxury and sex appeal in your styling, then Stephen Pappas is your man. Working out of LA as a stylist and interior designer, Stephen’s 20+ career is illustrious and he is well loved by many of his clients including Hunter Douglas, Architectural Digest, and Williams-Sonoma Home. Stephen has been working with Lincoln Barbour Studio since 2014 on shoots for Hunter Douglas and has great report with our team.
Jonah S
Digital Tech
Whenever we work with Portland based Jonah S, we learn something know about digital photography. Jonah is a well of knowledge from cameras, to computers, to lighting and has been at it for well over a decade. He’s outfitted for any type of job ranging from in-studio catalogs to mountaineering over glaciers. Jonah’s greatest talent is his attention to detail and he never lets small problems slide.
Peter Grill
Digital Tech
Based in Northern Virginia, Peter and his company Format is our go to digital tech for East Coast shoots. We don’t trust anyone to handle our digital assets and Peter is one of the few that can live up to our standards. His good nature and attention detail is only exceeded by the excellent service he provides.
JEYCOB CARLSON
CINEMATOGRAPHER
Talented, hard-working, and father of 4, Jeycob Carlson is a truly gifted artist and has help Lincoln Barbour Studio grow our video services by leading the filming of our productions. He’s technically fantastic and so helpful with coming up with great angles and takes. With Lincoln and Jeycob working together, you get a 1-2 punch that’ll knock out any video production.
