south waterfront


I had been waiting to take this shot when all the construction was done on the South Waterfront in Portland. I’ve been waiting a frikin’ year. I lost my patience after I realized I’d probably be waiting another two years for them to finish the whole area. But when the cranes move out, I’ll go back again.

    In all fairness the cranes add a sense of progress to the shot – show me a major city without cranes and I'll show you Delaware… 😐ReplyCancel

    That's true. There are cranes (the avian type) in the area that would have really made this shot special. Too bad the can't be queued up when you need them.ReplyCancel
