south waterfront

I had been waiting to take this shot when all the construction was done on the South Waterfront in Portland. I’ve been waiting a frikin’ year. I lost my patience after I realized I’d probably be waiting another two years for them to finish the whole area. But when the cranes move out, I’ll go back again.

In all fairness the cranes add a sense of progress to the shot – show me a major city without cranes and I'll show you Delaware… 😐ReplyCancel

I agree, I like the cranes, also like the foreground foliage with the flowers, very cool!ReplyCancel

You need to wait around for a shot of cranes/herons fishing in the foreground for this to work. What were you thinking?! Great shot, btw.ReplyCancel

That's true. There are cranes (the avian type) in the area that would have really made this shot special. Too bad the can't be queued up when you need them.ReplyCancel

I think this one is the most magic of your last pictures. Greetings, Mariana Cuentos.ReplyCancel

That's gorgeous. I love the textures in the sky and the reflection of them. Good stuff.ReplyCancel
