New Services for 2018! Drone Imaging and Full Motion Time-Lapse

I’m very excited to share some news about two new services. Over the past year I’ve been getting up to speed with drone technology and time-lapse photography and I’m now ready to offer it in addition to my still photography services.

Drone Imaging

Flying a drone is fairly easy and they have become quiet common over the past few years. But, did you know you can be fined millions of dollars for flying a drone in controlled airspace? You can also be fined for flying a drone commercially without an FAA license. I’ve taken several drone courses and passed my FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification last year. This means I can legally fly my drone for commercial purposes. I understand the rules governing drone operations and can now apply for special waivers, as well. It also means I can be insured. Insurance companies won’t issue a policy to anyone operating a drone commercially who does not have their FAA Part 107 License. Flying without insurance or a license is very bad. Hire me instead 🙂

Here are a few examples of some drone work I’ve done recently.

Time-Lapse Photography

I’ve always admired time-lapse photography. I think it’s beautiful way to showcase spaces and the environment, blurring the line between motion and still. It’s something I’ve wanted to invest in for a long time, but never had much call for it. This fall, a client of mine reached out to me looking to shoot multiple time-lapses of an elementary school project I shot stills for a few years ago. They needed the time-lapse clips as a feature on their new website’s landing page. I took the opportunity and ran with it. I’m very happy with how it came out and here are the results.

I can’t wait to shoot more of these. Please reach out to me today if you’re in need of some wow factor time-lapse photography.

Thanks!
