Portland-based architectural firm SRG, working in collaboration with EOP Architects, reached out to us to capture the new Shriner’s Hospital of Lexington, KY. The building was scheduled to be complete on a Friday and then open the doors to the public on the following Monday. They needed to have the entire hospital photographed in just two days.
SRG and EOP coordinated the talent, while Lincoln Barbour Studio worked closely with the site plans to draft a shoot schedule that would allow us to capture the all the key spaces inside and outside of the hospital. Though the building was complete on the inside, the outside landscaping was still underway. We provided retouching to add in grass and remove construction vehicles from most of the exterior shots.
The shoot was a great success and our retouching saved us from having to return to reshoot the exteriors. This was a huge budget saver in travel coordination times.
The final images were well received and are used as featured case studies on SRG’s and EOP’s website
