Walla Walla, WA is a long way away from anywhere. When ZGF needed to capture a new residence hall at Whitman College, they didn’t want to have to go back multiple times to capture all the spaces and exteriors. They wanted someone they could trust to get the shots no matter what situation may arise.
Dealing with rain and even snow showers, I had to come up with a creative shoot schedule for photographing the interiors and exteriors. When the forecast showed rainy/snowy weather on the first day of the shoot, we spent a majority of the time focused on the interiors and dusk shots. The cozy wood interior fits very well with this cloudy day look. The next day the sun broke through and we were able to capture all the exteriors.
ZGF was very happy with the results and the 37 shots we captured of the Stanton Hall have helped them win more Higher Education projects.
